What a time here in NZ!!!

15 months!!! 2017 is over, 2018 arrived. In 2016 I started into this adventure. This last year has been...lucky? It is difficult to find a word for these last months. There were so many ups and downs on my way through New Zealand, that I can't say that it was a absolute bad or a really good year. And still...it was awesome! It was special! Far away form home I went through many things that probably let me discover more of myself than ever before. 2016 was a heavy and despitefully year for me and I just wanted to get far away, so that I could figure it out. But what was I looking for? Or was I running away from something? Probably both. Running away from some things and looking for something that would fulfill me more than my life til then did. The beginning of my travel was hard. Far away from everything that I have known, from my family, my friends...I was actually coming closer to figuring out what kind of person I want to be in life. Working with Kiwis

This is gonna be one of the last posts of my trip in New Zealand =( I spent the last few months in Te Puke, where I was working with kiwifruits. I never learned so much about a fruit than in such a short time (not even the blueberries, cherries, apples or grapes I worked with). Thanks to Dandara and as I found out in the end, also Jaquelini, I got promoted to be supervisor with my own thinning team, which was actually fun to be. It was the second time over here in NZ, that I got promoted. And it helped me a lot to progress my self-confidence and to believe, that it is worth it, to work hard for something. I might not be the person doing the step forward into the first row in the first second someone asks to, but if people started to know me better, they learn, that I like to take over responsibility with dedication. At all it didn't happen so much in Te Puke, but I had a really nice time with new and old friends. For me it was one of the best times here in New Zealand. I learn...
